  • 10/31- Read 2Pager:Spanish American War and write response (packet)
  • 11/1-  Finish Summary and create a timeline using 5 most important dates (student chooses) on large white sheets (on their own)
  • 11/2-  Read 2Pager: Panama Canal/ Roosevelt Corollary and answer question sheet
  • 11/3-  All Quiet on Western Front Video
  • 11/4- All Quiet on Western Front Video
  • 11/7- Finish video and have students write summary
  • 11/8- Read 2Pager:Lusitania and answer essay
  • 11/9- Read 2Pager:WWI before US and 2Pager:WWI with US.  They need to ‘actively read’ (i.e. underline and define).

I am truly excited to be here with you this year. For those of you that do not know me from Rapid Run, this will be my 5th year in this great district and my first year at Oak Hills. I am an Oak Hills graduate myself and I am very proud of my Alma mater. I currently live in Loveland with my wife and daughter and I have a little boy on the way...sometime in late October/early November. I look forward to getting to know and work with all of you. This class will be challenging, but it will also be fun and interesting. If you put forth the effort you will do great.
